A VPN on your phone: set up in 5 minutes
You need an account, the WireGuard app and your phone camera.
Setup is the same on Android and iPhone. All you need is an account and the official app.
1. Account and device
Create an account and choose a plan. Then open the “Devices” section, choose the WireGuard protocol and press “Add”. Give the device a name you will recognise, such as “Phone”.
2. The app and the QR code
Install the official WireGuard app from Google Play or the App Store. In it, choose to add a tunnel and scan a QR code, then point the camera at the code on the site. If you are on the phone itself, use “Download” and open the file with the WireGuard app.
3. Connect and check
Switch the tunnel on. Once connected, open an IP-check page and make sure the country is Bulgaria. If it does not work, switch the protocol to OpenVPN or check that the plan has not expired.
